Coming Clean.

Hey everyone,

I know the people that read and enjoy this blog love fashion and beauty and makeup. I do too. But I have come to accept that this is not fully who I am.

There are days I like to throw on some yoga crops and a tank and a scarf and throw up my hair. Most days I wear no makeup, simply because I don't care. But I accept who I am. And if you are interested in fashion, beauty, health, yoga, fitness, clean eating, being yourself, wanderlust, reading, and anything else you can think of, please follow my other blog, Peace, Love & Yoga.

I will no longer be posting on here, and invite all of you to read and follow my other blog. It is more representative of who I am as a person, and it will be a blog about life and all of the wonders it entails.

Nude & "Leather"

Hello darlings,

Quick one today! I found another Pinterest outfit, (Yes, I am a bit addicted to Pinterest). This one is a simple nude top with leather-like leggings, and some black pumps.

Now, I absolutely love this look and really wish I could have that exact top. Its so nice and comfy looking, but you still look chic. 

Here's what I came up with: 

This top is a little more grey, but I think it still looks really nice together. 

Top - Old Navy: $12.00 

Leggings - Ardene's: $7.50 on clearance 

Shoes - H&M: $30.00 

Super simple outfit, but again - its simple, but chic. and I think it would look fab with a leather jacket, and possibly a cheetah print scarf for outside.

Today, I thought I'd do something a little different. I am going to first post a picture of an outfit off of Pinterest. And then, show you how to re-create it on a budget!

So here is the original outfit. It's pretty simple. However, depending on which brands you buy - it can be extremely expensive. 

Here's my version: 

Breakdown: 

Top - Mark's Work Wearhouse : Clearance $7.99

Scarf - Bluenotes: $5.00 

Necklace: The Bay - $3.99

Jeans - Old Navy - Sweetheart Skinny: $25.00 

Boots - Old Navy : $25.00 

The whole outfit, for less than $100 including shoes. 

Budget Friendly - This is so budget friendly because most people have a white long sleeve tee, and a pair of dark skinnies. You just have to purchase the accents and put it all together. 

Today, I also want to share a makeup look which was created using Naked2's palette. It's pretty simple: 

So, from this look - I'm planning on doing two tutorials. 

1. The eye makeup 

2. Foundation - you'd be amazed at what a good foundation routine can fix.

Just so you guys know..

Just so you guys know, I will not be posting until January 7th, 2013. I am taking the last few days I have off for myself and my family. New Years Resolutions

Hello lovelies,

I'm doing a quick post today, simply because we got back later than expected from our New Years trip out of town and I wanted to get some exercise in. So, I've had a pretty running clothes type of day. But lets face it, fit girls look better in clothing. So girls who exercise, really do care about their fashion.

I wanted to say that as of tomorrow I will be posting a blog each night, except on Tuesday's and Wednesday's. If I have written enough blogs in advance, then I will post in the mornings on those days. Otherwise it will be all the other days.

In the new year, I would love to hear from you guys and get feedback, requests, and just comments. I really appreciate you taking the time to read my blog, and I love that theres so many of you from all over the world.  So please post in the comment sections.

Happy New Years darlings !

For those of you who have already reached 12am, I wish you a belated happy new years, and for those of you who are in preparation for the new year, have a fantastic night tonight and be safe!

I am doing my new years post right now, about my outfit for tonight. I apologize for the crappy picture quality because I had to use my cellphone (I left my camera charger at home in London, and I went home to my parents for the holidays). Anyways, I paired a glittery, sequined dress from Sears (I got it for $10, with coupons), a black blazer from H&M, and a necklace similar to styles you can buy online at Baublebar (they don't deliver in Canada), that I also got at H&M for $24.95. To finish it off, a pair of nude pumps from Payless Shoesource - $29.99.

(Excuse my weird face).

 

I have extensions in my hair, and I used Naked2 for my eyemakeup. I used the colours:

- verve

- ydk

-pistol

 

 

I also used my favourite gel liner from L'oreal and Clinique Mascara. My other option was a black tight fitting high-low dress, and a long necklace. But I decided glitter was a little more fitting for tonight!
